Numero Uno

Oh my, the first post of a fledgling blog, how exciting.  So just a few starter notes … I hope to post here weekly, perhaps bi-weekly once I fully settle in, and just talk about life.  The better parts, at least, because this is intended to be a positive blog.  No political gouging, no downtrodden social commentary, no dire economic prognoses, and certainly no character assassinations or celebrity gossip, because we are exposed to plenty of that by every other media source known to man.  This is a place of peaceful reflection, of quiet serenity if I can manage such a thing electronically, and of hope.  You won’t find any Chicken Little rants about how the latest piece of the sky is falling … but you may very well read something about how the latest leaves fell under the maple in the dooryard like an intricate vermilion carpet.  If that sounds like something you might like, stay tuned for more.
